Our Events

  • Silent Auction Donation Request

Each year, SME Chapter 57 awards two scholarships to students in the Kansas City area pursuing careers in STEM fields. These scholarships are funded through the generosity of some of our member organizations and fundraising efforts. Our primary fundraiser is a silent auction held each December in conjunction with our holiday party. This event can not be successful without the participation from members, member organizations and others in the community willing to donate items for this event.

Please follow the link below to submit information about items you or your organization can donate to this event. In past years, items have ranged from industry equipment and training to gift cards and other items that may be on someone's wish list for the holidays. Please note, Chapter 57 is a registered 501(c)(3) organization so these donations may be tax deductible.

    Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

  • SME Chapter 57 Scholarship Application

The Board of SME Chapter 57 is excited to announce scholarship applications are now being accepted for students entering college next fall (2018) and students currently enrolled. Please download the application and submit to the Board no later than November 1st, 2017.
