  • Ohio Elastomers Presentation and Tour

    Rubber molding, especially bonded rubber molding, is a complex process from development through tooling and into production. With material neither removed nor added, the compound must flow and then cure under pressure and heat till the chemistry adopts the final geometry, and retain geometry through to a cooled part. It must adhere to substrates and hold through both assembly and use.

    Ohio Elastomers is an integrated design, engineer, molder, rubber fabrication, and urethane products company. It started out as mold makers with a prototyping capacity. Customer demand, however, moved it into progressively stronger and stronger production capabilities. Ohio Elastomers is especially noted for spring rate applications such as bushings, vibration insulators and machine mounts.
