Professor Marco Rolandi is chair of the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is also the scientific founder of KitoTech Medical (2012-) and an associate editor for RSC Advances (2015-). He received a doctorate in applied physics from Stanford University. In 2005, he became a postdoctoral fellow in the Materials Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley working in the laboratories of Professor Jean M.J Fréchet.
