Welcome to SME's Grand Rapids Chapter 38!

Our mission is to provide manufacturing solutions through education and professional growth opportunities for current and future members. Encourage members and nonmembers to contact each other for discussions and answers to specific problems.

Our vision is to be the most sought-after manufacturing resource for our chapter members, community and SME organization. We encourage our student members to work with Discover Manufacturing to see all the opportunities West Michigan has available for them.

The leggo league is having a competition on December 1, 2018 at Innovation Central High School.  The registration starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 5:30 PM.  Bring your younger children that can watch the event and maybe attend at a program in a local school.  Contact Wendy Graveline at wendy.graveline@granddial.com for more information if your school would like to participate in the even.  SME chapter 038 will have a table/booth with membership information.
