Welcome to SME's Seattle Chapter 39!

To be the most influential and respected manufacturing society.

To serve its members, manufacturing industry and manufacturing education, SME Chapter 39 shall be a valuable source of communication, networking and dissemination of manufacturing technology for the Pacific Northwest manufacturing community.

To do this, the chapter will:
  • Provide a networking forum for chapter member interaction with other members, educators, other SME chapters and SME at the national level.
  • Provide quality communication via the chapter website of the chapter's upcoming events and activities, leadership, SME certification and education engagement.
  • Encourage young people to choose Manufacturing Engineering as a profession by providing support of educators at all levels, encouraging the development of new student chapters and engaging with established student chapters.
  • Increase the awareness within the areas business community of the capability of Manufacturing Engineers and SME's Seattle chapter.
