Last October, the manufacturers of the Sacramento region met at the Sutter Club and decided to join forces to address one of the region’s most pressing economic needs -- the need for a well-trained and educated workforce to support and grow the region's manufacturing sector for the future.

That meeting resulted in the formation of an alliance to work with the region’s educational institutions to accelerate and support career development for the manufacturing sector. Join us on Feb. 21 as the SVMI working group reveals its initial plans, vision and mission to spark workforce growth, employment opportunities to grow the middle class, and the economic expansion of YOUR manufacturing business in our region!
