Getting Started as a Mentee

Welcome! The SME High School Mentor Program is designed to help high school students form connections to industry members who can serve as an additional resource to education and career pathways in manufacturing. To begin, please follow the steps outlined below.

How to Participate

Enroll as a Mentee

The role of mentee is important. To learn more about the program expectations, please review what it means to be a mentee. High school students under the age of 18 must get parental signature and consent. Please download the High School Mentor Program mentee permission form, fill it out, scan it and send to membership@sme.org.

GO DIGITAL! This option allows for a parent/guardian digital signature on the applications. It's simple and easy to use!
