As we commemorate the passing of Ron Mac Iver, we have been fortunate to have him as our friend and an integral part of our SME community.
On the early weeks of July, Ron had a medical emergency that put him in the hospital. Unfortunately, he never came home. He passed away on the morning of July 11th at 4AM. He was with family through to the end.
Just last year, Ron was recognized, by SME for his time in the Association and his service to the industry, with the award of a 55 year pin and certificate. That was an important day for Ron, and an inspiration to all of us. I am so glad we were able to share our appreciation with him.
Goodbye to a good friend.
