Chapter 233 at WESTEC 2019
On September 24, 25, and 26, Long Beach Convention Center Hosted the annual WESTEC show for SME. As was the case with the Aerodef show at the same venue, the WESTEC show was heavily attended with a crowded hall and lots and lots of exhibitors. Chapter 233 had a staffed table top display adjacent to SME Zone. We were jointed by East Los Angeles College, Cal State Fullerton, and Long Beach City College, each with their own banner.
The colleges had different staff representing each day. In addition, the staff was all there, for all three days. As the images below suggest, there was no shortage of visitors, especially the final day when high schools were invited to bring their classes. As we met with a lot of students on Thursday, we had lots of fun. Was there any interest membership? Absolutely! We handed out many applications to the students and guests. And as noted, the student chapters carried this day for Chapter 233. Thank you all.
