Nissan TCAT Tour Wows 170 5th Graders

Nashville Chapter 43 recently collaborated with Murfreesboro’s Overall Creek Elementary School to coordinate a tour of the Nissan Tennessee College of Applied Technologies campus in Smyrna, Tennessee.
Pictured above are a few of the 170 fifth graders that participated in the tour on Oct. 12, 2018. Overall, Creek Elementary is one of only 15 STEM-designated schools in Tennessee (STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math).
Every student returned to the classroom with their own pair of MTSU College of Engineering Technology branded sunglasses. Chapter 43 would like to thank Overall Creek Elementary, TCAT and MTSU for partnering with us on this worthwhile endeavor to promote STEM and manufacturing to our youth.
