Thank You For Attending Members Day At FABTECH!

On a snowy day in Chicago, we were happy to have several SME members join us at FABTECH 2019 for our Members Day, hosted by Chicago Chapter 5! Throughout the day, we held several different events, kicking it off with a continental breakfast and VIP seating at the opening keynote.

Other activities included:

• Emerging professional's meetup with task group members and Member Council reps Melissa Dochter, Kyle Riegel and Zachary Bibik (Zachary is a 2015 SME Education Family Scholarship winner!)
• Corporate Roundtable with 2018 SME President Tom Kurfess
• Member's Reception

A busload of members from the Waterloo Chapter 186, University of Northern Iowa S126 and Kansas State University, Hays, including 2015 SME President Wayne Frost, joined us as well as 2020 SME President Susan Smyth, who was on hand for the Member's Reception at the end of the day.

We'll be hosting more of these types of events in 2020, so be on the lookout for those invitations in the coming months! Again, thank you to everyone who attended and to all our volunteer leaders and Chicago Chapter 5 for helping us welcome members into the SME Zone.
