Membership Team Minute - March 19, 2018

Hello, SME Members:

I hope you enjoy St. Patrick's Day! Spring is near and soon March Madness will be over and baseball will be starting up.

SME is a great network for you to connect with other like-minded individuals working in manufacturing. As an example, a student member from Robert Morris University connected with me a few months before graduation and we were able to assist him in finding a job at an automotive manufacturer in Tennessee. That is the power of the SME network, from Pittsburgh to Knoxville — from Maine to California — SME members are everywhere. They are making an impact each and every day in the manufacturing arena.

Couple of things to remember:

2. The SME AeroDef Manufacturing Event is coming up in Long Beach, CA, March 27-28. If you are in the area or are in the aerospace manufacturing arena, we highly encourage you to attend.
