What to prioritize,
Imagine a company which believes, is doing fairly good in terms of business sustainability, has matured systems and lot of continuous improvement initiatives in place.  Suddenly it gets taken over by a larger company which believes in LEAN. As a result, the taken- over-company also has to follow LEAN.

How should the taken- over- company proceed ?  Should it begin by focusing  more on Value Stream Mapping to eliminate wastes or should it start from  Visual Display boards  and increase employee involvement and  take daily management to the lower levels and thereby in a way start from scratch or should both approaches proceed simultaneously ?
