Charlie Bolden, former NASA SLS Program Administrator gives a detailed report in the September 2020 issue of ARS Tehcnia, link provided below.
Boeing, SLS prime contractor has once again slipped the first launch date of the Block 1, (70 ton) payload rocket to November 2021, original launch date was December 2017. The program is over cost and seriously behind schedule, 4 years and counting.
The SLS program also includes a Block 2, (130 ton) payload rocket that was projected for a 2021 launch date based on the Block 1 successful launch date of December 2017.
