Engineering and Technologies Departments’s Annual Advisory Committee meeting 6/7
On Friday June 7th, ELAC (East Los Angeles College) held its Engineering and Technologies Department's Annual Advisory Committee meeting in the Technology Center.

Most of the Attendees were educators from a variety of institutions, while others were from professional training organizations, and industrials. Chapter 233 was in attendance, and represented by David and Angie Rosenfield. Approximately 60 members were present to the event.

The meeting was a working lunch that began with Advisory Member introductions. This was followed by a review of minutes from last year’s meeting and a vote to accept those minutes. Then, we were treated to presentations by Engineering Students Projects, Department Activities, and the ELAC Engineering Club. At the meeting, the members tried something new.

Due to the multiple disciplines involved in this department, the members broke into selected subjects to discuss the budgeting for those activities for the coming year. A period was set aside to hear Advisory Recommendations by all, which was followed by the department funding requests.

Finally, the meeting ended following a Vote in support of those requests. The meeting was adjourned.
