The William States Lee College of Engineering at UNC Charlotte will be hosting an educational and enlightening conversations event entitled "Creating & Developing More Diverse Engineering Leaders." Guest speakers (including 2018 SME Secretary Dianne Chong, PhD, FSME, and chair of SME's Southern Piedmont Chapter 182's Sherman Mumford, CEI, CMfgE, CMfgT) will discuss a variety of topics surrounding diversity, engineering and leadership. Great opportunity to learn from others in the industry as well as network.
Free for UNC Charlotte students, alumni, faculty, and all engineering and technical industry professionals. Actual event time 3-7 p.m. Registration is required. Parking (Visitor Section of Cone Deck or Union Deck) and dinner* is included. (*Dinner options will include meatless entrees; however, other food preferences cannot be customized). Student Activity Center/Arena - building location. 3rd floor, Salons A-E.
