The University of Waterloo has developed a simulation that is designed to assist in the understanding of the effective implementation of technological change, incorporating both human and technical elements. The Digital Transformation simulation is based on a brake pad factory and is available online.
SME members are being given free access to it for a limited period.
The simulation was written by Peter Carr of the University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering, who is also the author and instructor for their new online Digital Transformation program.
The orientation session will be followed by a debrief session for those who wish to explore the online simulation program and will be held on March 23rd at 6.30 pm EST.
