SME Willamette Valley Chapter 423 is Pleased to Announce a Tour of PakTech!
Tour Date: Thursday, June 8th, 2023
Start Time: 2:00 PM (Arrive 10 minutes prior to allow for check-in)

Founded in 1991, PakTech is an industry leader in using 100% recycled HDPE plastic to create 100% recyclable packaging handles. Headquartered in Eugene, PakTech is a full-service company that specializes in creating injection molded handles for multi-packing products as well as fully automated equipment to apply those handles to sealed containers.
PakTech makes it easy for consumers to grab, carry, and release multiple products using a simple, minimal, 100% recyclable handle. If you’ve ever bought craft beer, or if you’ve shopped at Costco, you’ve almost certainly seen and used a PakTech handle.
We will have the opportunity to tour the handle manufacturing facility, showcasing advanced injection molding equipment and processes. PakTech runs over a dozen presses of different sizes, producing a variety of handles out of 100% recycled, 100% recyclable HDPE. PakTech uses automated equipment to unload the molds, label, and inspect the handles.
After touring the handle manufacturing facility, there is also an opportunity to visit the Applicators build team and see some of the handle application equipment. It is an easy 10 minute drive from the manufacturing facility, and well worth the trip!
