US EPA is leading the world in various environmental topics from air quality, chemical/toxins in various forms from lead, radon, pesticides, greener living, land/waste cleanup, water quality, and building issue from mold, radon and bed bugs.

  
The Ann Arbor facility, National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory (NVFEL) is a state-of-the-art facility that provides a wide array of analytical testing and engineering services.  US  EPA NVFEL performs Automotive Emission testing for all manufacturers selling into the US market.  This tour is a rare opportunity to see the equipment and discuss the methods used to minimize all vehicle emissions from engine design, shed testing, tailpipe testing as well as fuel economy.
  
NVFEL is ISO17025:2017 accredited and ISO 14001:2015 certified. 
  
Special Instructions:  All are welcome, but this is a United States Government Facility,  RSVP is required by Nov. 10th.  Vehicles and persons are subject to weapons search upon entry.
