How many times have you heard the term “National Treasure”?  How many times have you driven by a national treasure and never stopped to investigate.  Well, this year’s Family Picnic will give you the opportunity to stop and visit a true “National Treasure”.

Benson Sculpture Garden has provided a beautiful and unique outdoor setting for showcasing sculpture since 1985. Currently, there are 178 pieces of sculpture on permanent display by world-renowned artists worth over $5 million. This 10-acre park blends nature and art and is an absolute paradise for anyone who appreciates art and sculpture and is one of the 200 most important modern and contemporary art sites around the world. 

Now, as manufacturing engineers, you might be asking “how are sculptures made?”

The answer to that question will be found at Art Castings of Colorado.

Since 1972, Art Castings of Colorado has been the trusted choice of artists around the country and around the world. They have a reputation as one of the cleanest, most efficient bronze art foundries in North America, and they’ve earned the confidence of scores of artists who rely on them for exceptional quality and service year after year.

The food will be served from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  We will travel to Art Castings for the 6:30 pm tour.
