Founded in 1977, Lawrence Tool & Molding began as a Veteran-owned tool shop. They are now named LTM Plastics but remain a family business, and have grown into a cutting-edge injection molding facility.

LTM collaborates with customers to tailor solutions specific to their needs. Their vast experience with plastic injection molding allows them to create products that are high quality, efficient on the manufacturing line, and often include full assembly at the press.

Using QRM (Quick Response Molding) principles, LTM Plastics is able to scale and support a wide range of volume requirements. With the right planning, they can keep all their customers stocked and ready to tackle whatever challenges turn up. Their operation is built to serve companies of almost any size. They have clients running as few as 10k parts and others in excess of 1M parts per year.

LTM is equipped to help with both robotic and manual insertion of metal and plastic substrates for the over-molding process. This seamlessly binds two materials together for improved part aesthetics, alignment, performance and/or structural strength.

With an eye on maximizing quality and efficiency, they are continuously looking to improve their operation. They recently replaced all of their presses, installed a state-of-the-art material handling system, robots and two over-head cranes.

They migrated over to Delmiaworks for better quality control and data collection. They’ve also codified all in-house processes so their team can generate the same high-quality results every time.
