Southern Piedmont: Community Maker Space Tour Event - July 30

Hello Southern Piedmont:

Let's visit MakerSpace Charlotte and take a tour of their 11,600 sq. ft. makerspace with 3D printers, laser cutter, electronics area (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Robots, etc), woodshop (w/CNC router), metal/fab shop, crafts studio, and more. If you home school, are a teacher, or an active community maker, MakerSpace Charlotte can arrange daytime activities for groups.  If you have a STEM or maker-related skill that you would like to teach, classes can be arrange in their space.

SME members, after attending the free tour of MakerSpace Charlotte and taking in all they have to offer, provide your personal feedback in SME Connect.  We want to hear your ideas of how MakerSpace Charlotte can be used for active outreach programming to serve Charlotte's manufacturing community.  Perhaps SME-Southern Piedmont would like to arrange a chapter social event there - let us know.
