Clegg graduated from Central Washington University where he majored in music performance and industrial engineering. Clegg's industry background includes extensive SolidWorks certification, additive manufacturing, laser scanning, reverse engineering, foundry, machining and metal fabrication. He currently works as a marine designer within the equipment engineering team at Manson Construction. Clegg proudly serves on the Central Washington University Tech Ed Program Advisory Committee and is a member of the American Welding Society. During his second term as chair of SME Seattle Chapter 39, he has focused on bolstering local college engineering programs by supporting five SME student chapters, growing the Seattle chapter to be the largest in the U.S. and leading Chapter 39 to platinum-level status in 2019. SME Member Since 2014
