VISION
SME's Westchester Chapter 216 is the premier professional society in the Lower Hudson River Valley. It brings together the local manufacturing community and manufacturers to explore advanced manufacturing concepts and supports our existing manufacturing base. Chapter 216 is also in the forefront to attract new manufacturers to the area. We support including manufacturing concepts in the local educational curriculum. We strive to recruit young manufacturing professionals and students of manufacturing into our society.

MISSION
By seeking and maintaining alliances with other actively involved local professional societies and educational institutions, Chapter 216 will make information on emerging technologies available to our members. Through these alliances, we will promote education for careers in technical fields in general and manufacturing in particular.
