SME's Wichita Chapter 52 has been serving south central Kansas for 75 years. The chapter serves its members and the manufacturing community through the advancement of professionalism, knowledge and the promotion of manufacturing education.
SME, an organization dedicated to advancing manufacturing and attracting future generations, was founded in 1932. In February 1942, Wichita Chapter 52 received its charter. Since its formation, Chapter 52 has been responsible forming several professional chapters and continues to sponsor Wichita State University S014.
