• Advance manufacturing, manufacturing engineering and manufacturing education in the greater Worcester area. 
• Inspire new and creative ideas within our membership and to provide a forum for sharing those ideas. 
• To promote the advancement of the manufacturing community through partnerships with educational institutions and professional organizations. 
• Provide a leadership role for our student chapter and to mentor our student members in the application of progressive manufacturing methodologies.

SME Chapter 25 has been serving the manufacturing community in central Massachusetts since 1934.
