Just a comment re: Todd Grimm's editorial - Tech Buzz June / July 2024.
Todd is absolutely right re: additive living in a world of their own, silos. But that view can be extended to many of our large manufacturers? Institutions? It took a man like Elon Musk to shake up the Space industry. GM - the pre eminent behemoth for many decades bankrupt? Shipbuilding industry. We are actually considering inviting foreign countries to come in and build warships?!
Instead of platitudes, pleasantries, congrats etc. ad nauseum, we need action. We need less talk, more responsibility to rebuild the industrial base.
