Hello,
Garrett Derr's recent post spoke to me about how we are all members of SME and during critical times like this it's crucial to come together to share ideas, find solutions and offer support. I loved when he said, "It is incumbent on us as SME members and our profession as Engineers to support not only critical infrastructure manufacturing and services, but to reach out to our colleagues to offer assistance where we can, even if we are sheltering in place".
This brought up a "call to action" within me that I wanted to make this post to reach out to my fellow SME members to see if anyone is involved with manufacturing any kind of PPE, sanitation products or Rail Industry products. If you are involved and have been called on as an "essential business" or "life sustaining business", and have been looking for ways to keep up with the demand, increase your throughput, increase safety, increase automation, etc. I would love to help out and work together on material handling solutions. My company has been deemed by the government as an "essential business" since we help the manufacturers with their operations to be as efficient as possible and produce the needed supplies.
Conveyor Solutions offers any type of conveyor, robotic arm, autonomous mobile robots (AMR's), stretch wrappers, box erectors and sealers to speed up the packaging process, palletizers/depalletizers, labelers, ergonomic lifts, etc.
