SME hosted a great webinar yesterday entitled Industry 4.0 for Aerospace Manufacturing.
Congratulations and thanks to Avner Ben Bassat from Plataine who moderated a panel of Shachar Fine of Kanfit, Don Kinard of Lockheed Martin, Curtis Richardson of Spirit AeroSystems, and Robert Yancey of Hexel Corporation.
There have been many posts on SME Connect on the subject, but having thought leaders available to answer questions was beneficial to the participants attending from all over the world.
It was a great discussion on how digitization can improve company efficiency and quality. Key points of discussion were the need for security when parts are being made all over the world, engagement of stakeholders, and access to all information required for decision-making. It has been disappointing that so many conferences have been canceled due to Covid-19, but it's great to have these sessions available!
