The next SME monthly meeting for DFW Chapter 51 will be held at the BDO offices in Dallas for some free lean training for members. We may alternate between the Dallas offices and the Ft Worth Offices when there are no host companies for tours, to capture members not usually traveling between the cities. If there is someone at your company that may be interested in this, feel free to bring them along!
I am currently checking with local companies to host tours. Lockheed has expressed interest, and we may have a future meeting at Martin Sprocket & Gear. If your company may be interested in hosting a monthly meeting, please call me and we can discuss it.
We are also looking for the officers of Secretary, Student Chapter Advisor, and Treasurer for the chapter. We plan on having strategy meetings to discuss chapter progress etc. If you might be interested in this, please let me know, either in person at the meetings or by phone. We will have snacks and soft drinks available at the meeting. I hope to see you there. I have done nationwide training on Lean and have a lot of material to share with the group as we move forward.

General Office Parking:
The entrance to our parking garage is on San Jacinto at Pearl Street (we’re in the Plaza of the America’s Building and the Marriott Hotel is also attached facing Pearl Street). You should park in our building garage in any unreserved space and bring your ticket with you for validation. You will take the garage elevators to the Lobby Level (L) and exit to the right towards the South Tower. You will need to take the parking elevator down to the lobby level and walk to the 600 Pearl St building inside the Atrium. Once you pass the security desk, you will take the elevators on the right up to the 17th floor where the receptionist desk sits.
