SME Technical Communities Industry 4.0 Technology Implementation Workshop: Data Analytics and Machine Learning
On behalf of the National Science Foundation's Future of Work at the Human-Technology Frontier (FW-HTF) Big Ideas Program, Texas A&M University and SME (Society of Manufacturing Engineers) are hosting virtual workshops for researchers and industry professionals. The workshops will focus on the implementation of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) within manufacturing enterprise settings. Industry 4.0 technologies of interest include AR/VR, Digital Twin/Cyber Physical Systems/Cyber Manufacturing, Collaborative Robotics, Internet of Things, and Data Analytics & Machine Learning.
The goal of the workshops is to allow academic and industry professionals to share research and case studies, brainstorm about research road maps for successful implementation of Industry 4.0 technology, and form partnerships to enable smart working in the 21st century.
Who should attend: This workshop is open to researchers, industry plant managers, and manufacturing engineers who have knowledge/experience in the topic area as demonstrated by publications, case studies, and/or reports. Limited space available.
When: All workshops will be held via Zoom from 9:00AM to noon (Central Daylight Time)
Expectations and stipend: Each participant is required to give a presentation (8-10 min) about their research/industry initiatives. A stipend of $600/participant will be provided (U.S. Citizens only).
