PTC_Nov17Webinar.pngStaying competitive in a globalized world goes far deeper than the “next best thing.” For Nidec Global Appliance, driving energy-efficient refrigeration solutions has made them a globally formidable force, providing excellence in food preservation with a diverse portfolio addressing real customer challenges.

In 1971 in Joinville, Brazil, Embraco began production of their globally recognized hermetic compressors. Recognized for delivering innovative, high-performance, and energy-efficient products and services, Embraco is a pioneer in developing solutions that revolutionize the refrigeration market. In 2019, Embraco was bought by Nidec Corporation and became part of one of the biggest motors producing groups. Because of that, the company changed the name for Nidec Global Appliance and Embraco continues to be a brand product.

As regulations for energy efficient products strengthen around the world, Nidec Global Appliance has embarked on a digital transformation journey enabling them to increase their time to market, quality, and maximize the efficiency of their internal processes. Integral to this digital transformation is PTC’s Windchill PLM solution.
