Jim Rogers 2021 Scholarship Recipient

Please join SME Houston Chapter 29 in congratulating this year's Jim Rogers scholarship recipient, Maggie DiFrancesco. Maggie is a Junior Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering Technology major at Texas A&M University, and serves as the Secretary Chair at TAMU student chapter S099. Maggie is currently enrolled in a 5 year Masters of Finance program called 'Stem to Stocks.' Maggie is extremely passionate about engineering & manufacturing, and hopes to utilize her finance knowledge in the future to become the CFO of an engineering firm or eventually start her own engineering business.Â
The Jim Rogers Scholarship was created in memory of SME Houston chapter's former member and mentor Jim Rogers, and is offered to students enrolled in our student chapters at University of Houston S079, and Texas A&M University chapter S099. Holding true to tradition, our executive board is making plans to host an award dinner to honor Maggie.
